05. Balloon Angioplasty

Step 1

The balloon catheter is inserted into the guiding catheter and moved to the infected area.

Step 2

The balloon is inflated, compressing the plaque against the artery wall.

Step 3

Once the artery has been sufficiently expanded, the balloon catheter will be deflated and removed.
